Party with us today. Monday, Aug. 21, and view the astronomical event of the century, the Great American Eclipse. Each library branch location is hosting a viewing party. Drop in anytime from 12:30 - 4 pm to participate. The Maximum eclipse should be approximately 2:25-2:27 pm. Don't be late.
We have pinhole projectors and eclipse glasses to share. Crafts will be available for little ones to create and commemorate the event.

In cooperation with the Harrison County Public Library astronomer Mark Steven Williams of StarGeezer Astronomy will host a series of Total Solar Eclipse Preview programs in Harrison County August 9 - August 15.

Registration for the Harrison County Public Library 2017 Summer Reading Program "Build a Better World" begins Wednesday, May 24. The free program runs from May 24 to July 31.
