This program is recommended for children age birth through 6 years old, but all young library patrons are welcome. Each session lasts about 45 minutes. Activities may include sharing books, songs, finger plays, crafts, movies or games. Participants may be asked to bring craft materials. Parents and children will sit on the floor. Family Time - Build a Better Ice Cream at Main Branch

Make homemade ice cream baggie style!  Each family will mix and shake their own.  The bags get very cold so bring gloves of socks to cover your hands.  Towels to wrap the bags will help as well.  Family Time is for children of all ages accompanied by their parent(s) or a responsible adult caregiver.  See More

Summer Reading Begins

Registration for the Harrison County Public Library 2017 Summer Reading Program "Build a Better World" begins Wednesday, May 24.  The free program runs from May 24 to July 31.

Children of all ages can register at any HCPL branch location or online at the library website www.hcpl.lib.in.us. ; The program begins May 24 but members can sign up anytime during the summer.
