Tax Forms On Order

Along with reductions in the number of forms available, the IRS has reduced the variety of forms we can order.  Below is a list of the forms currently on order.  According to the IRS "Forms, Instructions and Publications Tax forms, instructions and publications will ship as they become available. The IRS Explains Physical Tax Form Reductions

"As you most likely have experienced, the demand for printed products has been decreasing each year. Therefore, we are reducing the number of products offered through the program this year for the following reasons:Only 9 out of every 100 taxpayers prepared their 2013 tax return using IRS paper tax forms.This change supports one of our primary goals which is for taxpayers to file electronically using IRS Free File, at IRS.gov/FreeFile resulting in more accurate returns and faster refunds.…See More

Tax Season is Ending

Tax Forms will be available for two more weeks at the Main Branch.  After that the displays will return to other seasonal items.  If you need tax forms printed please ask at the Reference Desk, or at the main desk of the branches.  A staff member would be happy to print anything that the IRS or State has available online.Forms printed from library computers will be subject to the standard printing fees (ten cents a page for black and white and twenty five cents color).  This pays for the…See More
