New HCPL Board Member

Roger Windell is a new member to Harrison County Public Library Board of Trustees.  The South Harrison Community School Corporation appointed Roger to this position.  Roger will serve a four year term which will end on 31 December 2015.  Roger just completed serving fourteen years on the South Harrison Community School Corporation Board.  Roger is quite active in Harrison County serving on various committees with local clubs and organizations.  Roger attended his first HCPL Board Meeting on… Continue

Library Statistics for 2010 (with graphs!)

The Harrison County Public Library has completed the yearly statistics for the Indiana State Library and is excited to share them with our patrons.  For all three branches, there were a total of 92,019 patrons that came through the front doors. (Harrison County has a population of 39,364 according to the 2010 Census.)  Of those patrons, a total of 53,981 used the computers.
