Registration for the library’s Summer Reading Program 2016, “READ Indiana,” will begin Monday, May 23.   Children of all ages can register at any HCPL branch location or online at the library website .  The program begins May 23 but members can sign up anytime during the summer.

            Children will also be able to register for story hours and craft activity sessions based on the Indiana bicentennial theme.  Special programs include Nature’s Olympians by Animal Tales June 17 at the Corydon Central Junior High School gym, Professor Steve’s Science of Basketball School June 24 at the Corydon Intermediate School gym, Historic Dancing July 8 in the First State Office Building, Pioneer Games July 14 on the First State Capitol grounds, pool parties and much more.  To receive a complete calendar of events or to register for the program patrons should stop in any of the HCPL library locations May 23 or visit the library website at .  For more information call the Harrison County Public Library, 812-738-4110.
